Thai PM Hosts European Business Leaders to Accelerate Thailand-EU FTA

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul met with leaders from over 40 top European companies to strengthen trade and investment ties, reaffirming Thailand's commitment to becoming a regional economic hub by leveraging its strategic position and industrial potential.

The government is prioritizing key growth areas, including digital infrastructure, AI, clean energy, and logistics, with initiatives such as the "Thailand FastPass," OECD accession, and the Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement all working to drive sustainable growth in sectors like semiconductors and life sciences.

European representatives voiced strong confidence in Thailand's workforce and manufacturing capabilities. In response, the government pledged to streamline over 7,000 outdated regulations to create a more business-friendly environment for long-term investment.

With a clear reform roadmap and strengthened international partnerships, Thailand is steadily positioning itself as a vital strategic destination for global investment.
