The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in partnership with the Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, has announced the World Travel & Culture Expo 2026 (WTCE 2026), set to take place 29–31 October at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi. Held under the theme "Smartly Link the World," the expo aims to promote tourism, trade, investment, and international cooperation, further cementing Thailand's position as ASEAN's hub for tourism and entertainment.
This builds on the success of the inaugural 2025 edition, which drew exhibitors from 23 countries and participants from 36 countries, with a reported 98% success rate in business negotiations and partnerships. This year's expo also marks continued Thailand-China cooperation following the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, while expanding tourism and business links across ASEAN.
Speaking at the launch, Pasakorn Rangsiwatanasak, Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, said the expo reflects Thailand's strategy of using tourism, culture, sports, entertainment, and the creative industries as key drivers of economic growth. TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool added that the event supports TAT's "Value over Volume" strategy by connecting tourism with culture and innovation, while creating opportunities for investment, knowledge exchange, and business partnerships.
The expo will feature 5 specialized exhibitions covering:
• Amusement and attraction parks
• Billiards and indoor sports
• Entertainment technology
• Film and television production
• Intellectual property and creative industries
A dedicated tourism forum will also explore emerging trends in visitor safety, sustainability, risk management, and immersive technologies shaping the future of travel.
