Pattaya Welcomes the USS Abraham Lincoln with Enhanced Security Measures

Pattaya City is preparing a warm welcome for the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and its roughly 5,000 crew members, arriving for shore leave from 2–6 September 2026. Visitors' safety and comfort remain Pattaya City's top priorities!

● Enhanced Security in Place

Comprehensive security and crime-prevention measures are now active across the city. Please note that any recent area restrictions are internal U.S. military regulations for personnel, not a citywide ban. All venues and attractions remain open to the public as usual.

● Zero Tolerance Policy

Authorities are strictly enforcing laws against unlawful practices and any form of exploitation involving minors under 18. Business owners have also been reminded not to take advantage of visitors. Everyone's experience should be safe and fair.

● Smarter, Safer Koh Larn

One of Pattaya's most popular island getaways just got a security upgrade. Over 280 CCTV cameras and 42 AI-powered facial recognition cameras are now monitoring the area for everyone's peace of mind.
