Thai fabric took to the global stage in the stunning look of Nene Royal, the winner of America’s Got Talent 2026, and the first Thai performer ever to take the top prize.

Rooted in the local wisdom of Bankrua Community, a historic Cham Muslim community along Bangkok’s Saen Saep Canal, her look shows how traditional Thai textiles can be transformed into bold and contemporary fashion.

The fabric is a fine metallic brocade woven on plain silk, reimagined through a modern silhouette. The fabric’s rich heritage is brought to life in a striking red ensemble featuring sharp tailoring, statement belts, metal studs, and chain details.

Waist draping and a high front slit add movement, creating a look that is beautiful, edgy, strong, and powerful—while keeping the story of Thai craftsmanship at its heart.
