Today (29 September 2026), the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has accelerated post-flood recovery operations, launching a citywide Big Cleaning campaign to clear flood debris and bulky waste. Officials are also removing vehicles that were parked in various locations to escape the rising floodwaters across all 50 districts of Bangkok.

The cleanup aims to restore cleanliness, clear roads, and prepare the city for residents to resume their normal daily activities and travel starting tomorrow.

The BMA’s recovery efforts are focused on restoring Bangkok to a clean and safe condition and enabling traffic and daily life to return to normal as quickly as possible.
