The cool season has arrived, and Mae Hong Son is celebrating in gold.

Mexican sunflowers (Bua Tong) have begun blooming at Khun Yuam’s Tung Bua Tong Forest Park, marking the arrival of Thailand’s cool season. As of 4 November, the hillsides are covered in vibrant yellow blossoms, creating spectacular golden landscapes and attracting nature lovers and photographers.

The flowers typically bloom from November to December, so there's only a short window to enjoy one of Mae Hong Son's most beloved seasonal attractions.
