The Busan Festival Promotes Cultural Exchange Between Vietnam and Korea.

The 2024 edition of the “We Are Together as One” festival was recently held in Busan, Republic of Korea (RoK). This year's festival included a variety of cultural activities featuring artists from both countries.

Highlights included a concert, a talent contest for Vietnamese citizens in the RoK, a V.KPOP random dance challenge, and various games. The "We Are Together as One" concert was the main attraction of the event.

Many renowned Vietnamese and Korean music and dance groups, such as Ly Ly, Erik, Vinh Khuat, Trang Phap, Koyote, and It’s On, delivered impressive performances celebrating romantic love and love for their homeland. The concert attracted a large audience of Vietnamese and Korean youth.

“The concert featured many well-known artists. Singer Ly Ly, currently popular on TikTok, is the idol of many young people. The Korean band's performance also received enthusiastic applause,” noted a visitor.

Additionally, a contest on Vietnamese culture was organized for Vietnamese citizens in the RoK. Contestants showcased their talents by dancing, singing, or playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen from Busan University of Foreign Studies won 200,000 won for her belly dance performance, and Quach Thuy Chi from Busan National University received a prize for her rendition of the song “For You”.
