Thailand has emerged as the top choice for repeat visits among Vietnamese travelers, surpassing popular destinations like Japan and Singapore, according to data from the online travel agency Agoda. The survey, conducted on the Agoda platform from August 1 to 19, revealed that 75% of Vietnamese respondents have returned to their favorite destinations, with Thailand leading the list, followed by Japan, South Korea, and Singapore.

The survey included over 4,000 participants from various countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Vietnamese travelers cited ease of travel, local cuisine, and convenient location as the top factors making these destinations irresistible. Thailand, in particular, has consistently been a favorite due to affordable airfare, high-quality tourism services, and the warm hospitality of its people. Some Vietnamese tourists even mentioned visiting Thailand more than 10 times.

Southeast Asian countries, in general, continue to attract Vietnamese tourists because of visa-free travel and their proximity to Vietnam.
