The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced "Amazing Thailand Romance Month," a global initiative designed to draw couples and LGBTQ+ travelers. As part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, this campaign promotes luxury travel experiences and exclusive perks. Throughout February, TAT will collaborate with hospitality and airline partners to provide customized packages and special promotions across major destinations. The month-long program will feature romantic airport welcomes, business networking events, and curated experiences tailored for international visitors.

This initiative is part of TAT’s broader 2 BY 4 Global Campaign, which includes additional themed tourism promotions throughout the year. In April, Amazing Songkran will highlight Thailand’s lesser-known destinations, while Amazing Summer in August will focus on multigenerational family travel. The February campaign aims to boost Thailand’s appeal among long-haul travelers, with a target of welcoming over 10 million visitors from Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa in 2025. Bangkok will also host major trade events, bringing together global travel agencies and tourism businesses to foster international collaborations.

In a separate development, the Immigration Bureau is set to launch a fully digital immigration system, replacing the paper-based TM 6 form. Starting May 1, 2025, the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) will streamline entry procedures, integrating with airline databases, customs, and health screening systems to enhance border control efficiency. Travelers will no longer need to fill out paper forms, reducing processing times and improving the overall arrival experience.

To ensure a smooth transition, authorities have rolled out a multilingual awareness campaign, offering guidance in English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese. Video tutorials will soon be released, detailing TDAC’s benefits and providing step-by-step instructions for completing the online form.
