Despite rising global political tensions, particularly the conflict in the Middle East, tourism on the island of Bali continues to remain vibrant and stable. Hotel occupancy rates are still at satisfactory levels, while the Indonesian government continues to closely monitor international developments.
Recent data indicate that Bali remains a popular destination for international travelers, similar to the period before the recent global political tensions. In Badung District, the island’s main tourism hub, around 52% of hotels recorded occupancy rates between 41–69%, while 36% reported occupancy levels of 70–80%.
The Indonesian government stated that the overall outlook for Bali’s tourism industry remains strong. Authorities will continue to work closely with tourism operators while pushing forward marketing strategies to maintain the momentum of growth in the tourism sector.
