The Government Public Relations Department (PRD) has been assigned to provide facts and promote better understanding about the Thailand-Cambodia border situation through its international media networks.

Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s OfficeJiraporn Sindhuprai, who supervises PRD operations, stressed the need to provide accurate information about the current border situation to the world community, as disinformation might lead to misunderstandings and affect international relations.

She stated that the current Thai-Cambodian situation involves not only border clashes, but also information warfare. Therefore, it is crucial for the Government to focus on dissemination of facts and accurate information.
