Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended this event, which was open to all.
The panel discussion provided an opportunity for candid and constructive exchanges of views with local and international media on communication with the public, and reporting on the current Thai-Cambodian border situation. This is important, especially against the backdrop of widespread disinformation and public reactions on both sides. Afterwards, the panelists fielded a number of questions on various angles of the situation.
