HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Donates Tourniquets to Help Soldiers along Thai-Cambodian Border

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has donated 4,000 tourniquets to the Suranaree Forces to help soldiers on security duties along the Thai-Cambodian border areas in Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces in the Northeast.

The royal donation will be used to provide first aid in medical care for injured persons as they carry out their operations to protect the country on the border areas.

Concerned over the safety of Thai military forces, Her Royal Highness, who is the Honorary President and Executive Chairperson of the Chaipattana Foundation, had donated 3,300 tourniquets for the purpose on 13-14 August, 31 August, and 17 September. Another 700 tourniquets were granted on 19 September, bringing the total number of tourniquets to 4,000.

Previously, Her Royal Highness granted essential supplies to soldiers and village defense volunteers operating along the Thai-Cambodian border. She also instructed the Chaipattana Foundation to construct safety shelters to protect local residents from potential threats.
