Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 29 December 2025 had a discussion on the Thai-Cambodian border situation with ambassadors and representatives of the Embassies of Greece, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and Spain.
All sides exchanged views on recent developments along the Thailand-Cambodia border, especially the ceasefire arrangement and possible steps ahead, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Secretary to the Minister shared Thailand’s views on sustaining the ceasefire and fostering stability through bilateral engagement and ASEAN-led processes, underscoring Thailand’s firm commitment to peace.
He also conveyed Thailand’s willingness to work closely with international partners to promote confidence-building, reduce tensions, and support long-term peace along the border.
