Clarification of Allegations Made by Cambodia Following the Entry into Force of the Ceasefire Agreement

The Joint Press Center on the Thailand-Cambodia Border Situation on 3 January 2026 at 19.00 hr clarified the facts to the public and the international community regarding allegations made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia following the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement. 

Thailand rejects any allegations of encroachment and reaffirms that: 

1. Thailand respects the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the principle of non-use of force in accordance with international law, acting in strict accordance with the Joint Statement agreed upon by both sides. 

2. Thailand strictly adheres to the United Nations Charter, international humanitarian law, and the relevant conventions. 

3. Thailand is committed to resolving issues peacefully and through bilateral negotiations, particularly through the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC).
