A: The area in question has continuously been part of Thailand for more than 40 years. There is clear evidence underscoring the care, use and management of the area by the Thai side. In the past, Thailand allowed Cambodia to use part of the area as a temporary refugee camp for humanitarian reasons, but their presence was not subsequently withdrawn as it should have been.
