An art exhibition “In Loving Remembrance of the Queen Mother” will be held to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Out-Patient Service Hall, second floor, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, in Bangkok, from 14 to 28 February 2026.

The exhibition is being prepared jointly by Siriraj Hospital, the Foundation for Cancer Care Siriraj Hospital, and the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University. It is also meant to seek donations to help underprivileged cancer patients.

A total of 93 paintings will be presented featuring portraits of the Queen Mother and images of Her Majesty’s work and activities. The paintings were created by national artists, master artists, and old and present students at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, as well as artists from many institutions.

Interested persons are invited to offer donations to receive images of these paintings, with 13 images at the size of 150 x 150 cm, and 80 images at the size of 240 x 240 cm.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, stated that the number of cancer patients has been on the rise, and among them, over 90 percent have financial burdens. The organizing of the exhibition aims to raise funds in order to upgrade the quality of life of cancer patients, in response to the aspirations of the Queen Mother, who worked tirelessly for the better quality of life of all Thais and many others. 

Proceeds from this event will go to the Foundation for Cancer Care Siriraj Hospital to support patient payments for medical bills. Donations are eligible for double tax deductions in Thailand. The exhibition will be open to the public from 10.00 to 20.00 hr, between 14 and 28 February 2026.
