The Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother will take place from 15 to 19 December 2026, with the following schedule:

1. Tuesday, 15 December 2026

17.00 hr - Royal merit-making ceremony at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in preparation for moving the Royal Urn to the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground.

2. Wednesday, 16 December 2026

07.00 hr - The Royal Urn is moved from Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall to the Royal Crematorium.

16.30 hr - Royal Cremation Ceremony

3. Thursday, 17 December 2026

08.00 hr - Ceremony for collecting the Royal Relics, which will then be transferred to Phra Si Rattana Chedi, Temple of the Emerald Buddha within the Grand Palace.

4. Friday, 18 December 2026

17.00 hr - Royal merit-making ceremony for the Royal Relics at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.

5. Saturday, 19 December 2026

10.00 hr - Ceremony for offering food to monks at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, and then the Royal Reliquary Urn is enshrined in the Heavenly Abode in Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall.

17.00 hr - The Royal Ashes are enshrined at Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram and Wat Bovoranives Vihara.
