His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X) and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana presided over a royal merit-making ceremony to mark the 100th day of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. The ceremony took place on 18 September 2026 at about 17.23 hr at Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall within the Grand Palace. His Royal Highness Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti and Chaokhun Phra Sineenatha Bilasakalyani also attended the ceremony.

Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, Princess Ubol Ratana, Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun, and Thanpuying Sirikitiya Jensen.

Upon arrival at the ceremonial site, Their Majesties the King and Queen laid wreaths in front of the royal urn of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. Ceremonial officials sounded the conch shells, curved trumpets, Western trumpets, oboes, and drums alongside a piphat music ensemble. The royal funeral guard of honor paid respects as the band performed the Mahachai Anthem.

Then His Majesty the King lit incense and candles to worship the Buddha image representing the birthday of Princess Bajrakitiyabha. A group of 10 monks chanted prayers. His Majesty graciously designated Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti to light the khrueang thong noi (set of royal floral and incense offerings) in front of the royal urn, in order for the deceased royal to listen to a sermon and receive the precepts.

The Most Venerable Phra Brahmapundit, the Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawat, administered the precepts and delivered a Dhamma sermon on this occasion. 

On the same day at 07.30 hr, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over a merit-making ceremony at Government House to mark the 100th day of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. Participating in the ceremony were members of the Cabinet and their spouses, government officials, and representatives from relevant agencies.

On the morning of 19 September, Their Majesties the King and Queen attended a royal merit-making ceremony on the 100th day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha at Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.

Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha passed away peacefully on 11 June 2026 at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok.
