The Bureau of the Royal Household on 7 January 2023 issued the third announcement on the illness of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

The announcement stated that Her Royal Highness has been hospitalized at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok since 15 December 2022, after losing consciousness because of a heart condition.

The royal medical team had summarized its examination that the unconsciousness of Her Royal Highness was caused by an extremely irregular heartbeat, as a result of inflammation from Mycoplasma infection.

Regarding her overall condition, Her Royal Highness remains in an unconscious state. The medical team has continued to provide medication and machines to help the functioning of Her Royal Highness’s heart, lungs, and kidneys. It has also continued to closely monitor her symptoms.

Her Royal Highness fell unconscious on 14 December 2022, while she was training her pet dogs to prepare for taking part in the Thailand Working Dog Championship by Royal Thai Army 2022 in Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province.

The Thai Red Cross Society has arranged a place for well-wishers to write their messages of good wishes for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita on the first floor of the Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
