1. In translating policy into practice, a number of considerations must be taken into account. The foremost foundation lies in an understanding of one’s duties as representative of His Majesty the King, the country, and the Thai people, in order to foster friendly relations with other countries while protecting national interests.

2. The dynamics and situation in both Thailand and the world are rapidly changing. The Ambassadors and Consuls-General must carry out their duties promptly and cautiously, by understanding and taking into account Thailand’s and other countries' positions and situations. This will enable the Ambassadors and Consuls-General to appropriately and correctly perform their duties in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and national interests, and ultimately contributing toward the well-being of the Thai people.

On this occasion, His Majesty the King bestowed well wishes to the Thai Ambassadors and Consuls-General for happiness, progress, and successes in their endeavors.
