Medication Given to Raise HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s Blood Pressure

The Bureau of the Royal Household on 19 August 2025 issued its fifth announcement on the illness of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

The announcement provided an update on the condition of Her Royal Highness, who has been hospitalized at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok since 15 December 2022, after losing consciousness because of a heart condition.

In its fourth announcement on 15 August 2025, the Bureau of the Royal Household stated that Her Royal Highness had developed a severe infection that entered her bloodstream, and that the administration of multiple antibiotics and medication was required to stabilize her blood pressure.

In its fifth announcement, the Bureau stated that, as Her Royal Highness’s blood pressure remains low, the royal medical team has administered medication to raise her blood pressure. The Princess has continued to receive other treatments and equipment to support the functioning of her lungs and kidneys.

The royal medical team is continuing to provide Her Royal Highness with treatment and is closely monitoring her condition.
