The Bureau of the Royal Household on 31 August 2025 issued its sixth announcement on the illness of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

The announcement provided an update on the condition of Her Royal Highness, who has been hospitalized at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok since 15 December 2022, after losing consciousness because of a heart condition. It also referred to Her Royal Highness’s severe bloodstream infection on 9 August 2025.

According to the latest medical update, the royal medical team reported that Her Royal Highness’s overall condition regarding the infection has improved and her blood pressure remains stable after the discontinuation of blood pressure-stimulating medication.

The team continues to administer antibiotics to control infection and has been providing medication and equipment to support the functioning of the lungs and kidneys of Her Royal Highness. It is continuing to closely monitor Her Royal Highness’s condition and provide treatment with the utmost care.

The Bureau of the Royal Household will keep the public informed of further developments, if there are any significant changes in Her Royal Highness’s condition.
