The Bureau of the Royal Household has announced that His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will pay a State Visit to People's Republic of China from 13 to 17 November 2025, at the invitation of Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.
According to the announcement, this visit will strengthen even further the enduring friendship between the two countries and will naturally enhance the cordiality and mutual understanding in their people-to-people relations. Importantly, this visit will be taking place during the very time when the two countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-China diplomatic relations.
On 14 November 2025, Their Majesties the King and Queen will be received at the Official Welcoming Ceremony at the Great Hall of the People, where Their Majesties will be greeted by the President of the People's Republic of China and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan.
After the ceremony, Their Majesties will meet with the President of the People's Republic of China and his wife. Their Majesties thereafter will grant an audience to Mr. Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. In the evening of the same day, the President of the People's Republic of China and his wife will host a State Banquet in honor of Their Majesties at the Great Hall of the People.
During this State Visit, Their Majesties will lay a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes at Tian'anmen Square. Their Majesties will also visit various places of interest in Bejing, namely, the Lingquang Temple, the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, the Center for Educational Technology and Resource Development, the China Academy of Space Technology, the China Astronaut Scientific Research and Training Center, and the Beijing Aerospace Control Center.
Also, a part of Their Majesties' Program will be a visit to the Palace Museum where on display will be the "Golden Friendship, Shared Briliance: A Special Exhibition Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Thai-Chinese Diplomatic Relations." A visit to the Hall of Supreme Harmony will also be included.
Their Majesties the King and Queen will depart from the Military Air Terminal, Don Mueang, on Thursday, 13 November by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, flight number TG 8886, scheduled to leave at 10.20 hr, and will return by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, flight number TG 8887, scheduled to arrive at the Military Air Terminal, Don Mueang, on Monday, 17 November, 20.45 hr.
