His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on 16 November 2025 at 11.06 hr proceeded to observe the operations of China’s Center for Educational Technology and Resource Development, which is under the Ministry of Education.

At the center, the Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Huai Jinpeng, and the Director of the Center for Educational Technology and Resource Development, Ms. Li Ping, welcomed Their Majesties.

Then Their Majesties attended a briefing and watched a video presentation on China’s educational technology development, and they observed technologies adopted for smart education in China, such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, Optical Mark Recognition, Chinese calligraphy teaching tools, and laser engraving machinery.

Their Majesties also visited the Big Data Department office, where they viewed data and statistics on China’s smart education and a demonstration of smart learning through the distance learning system between primary schoolchildren in Beijing and Hainan Province.

In the afternoon on the same day, Their Majesties the King and Queen proceeded to observe various important places in Beijing, namely the China Academy of Space Technology, the China Astronaut Scientific Research and Training Center, and the Beijing Aerospace Control Center, which is located in the Beijing Aerospace City.

Their Majesties will return by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, flight number TG 8887, scheduled to arrive at the Military Air Terminal, Don Mueang, in Bangkok, on Monday, 17 November, 20.45 hr.
