His Majesty the King has graciously bestowed a royal address on the occasion of National Children’s Day 2026 for publication in the National Children’s Day Book, B.E. 2569 (2026).

The royal address reads:

“All children should properly understand that discipline is not merely the observance of rules and regulations, but rather the ability to exercise self-control in doing what ought to be done. Such self-discipline leads to genuine happiness and true prosperity. Therefore, training oneself to be a person of discipline is of the utmost benefit, and it is something that everyone should practice until it becomes a normal habit.”

Thailand celebrates National Children’s Day on the second Saturday of January each year. This year, National Children’s Day falls on 10 January.
