Funeral Bathing Ceremony and the Paying of Respects to the Royal Remains of Princess Bajrakitiyabha

The Bureau of the Royal Household announced on 12 June 2026 that it had received His Majesty the King’s royal permission regarding the funeral bathing ceremony and the paying of respects to the remains of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita, as follows:

1. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the public to participate in the funeral bathing ceremony for Her Royal Highness before her portrait at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from 08.30 hr to 12.00 hr;

2. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the public to pay their respects before the portrait of the Princess at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion within the Grand Palace daily from 08.30 hr to 16.00 hr, beginning on Sunday, 14 June 2026. A condolence book will also be provided at the venue for members of the public to sign;

3. Members of the public will be allowed to pay their respects to the royal remains at Phiman Rattaya (Biman Rataya) Pavilion following the completion of the fifteen-day royal merit-making ceremony, from 09.00 hr to 21.00 hr daily, beginning on Saturday, 27 June 2026;

4. His Majesty the King has allowed the royal lineage, the Privy Council, the Cabinet, various groups of people, government agencies, state enterprises, the private sector, and the general public to jointly host funeral rites in memory of the Princess following the completion of the 100-day royal merit-making ceremony.
