Their Majesties the King and Queen, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, on the morning of 30 June 2026 proceeded to the Arc de Triomphe de l’ Etoile, where a wreath-laying ceremony was held in honor of the Unknown Soldier.

Upon arrival, Their Majesties were welcomed by Mrs. Catherine Vautrin, Minister for the Armed Forces and Veterans of the French Republic, and Lieutenant General Loïc Mizon, Military Governor of Paris. His Majesty then laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier beneath the Arc de Triomphe de l’ Etoile.  

In the afternoon, Their Majesties, together with Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari, visited the Paris City Hall (Hôtel de Ville de Paris). They were welcomed by Mr. Emmanuel Grégoire, Mayor of Paris, Ms. Lamia El Aaraje, First Deputy Mayor of Paris, and Mrs. Audrey Pulvar, Deputy Mayor of Paris for International Relations.

Their Majesties received a briefing on the concept of Sustainable Paris. After that, they departed by royal motorcade for the Paris City Hall Pier on the banks of the Seine River. Their Majesties then traveled by an electric boat to observe urban development along the Seine River.

During the journey from the Paris City Hall Pier to the Paris Yacht Marina, Their Majesties received a briefing from Ms. Alice Timsit, Deputy Mayor of Paris for Ecological Transition, Climate Policy, Water, and Energy, on the conservation and restoration of the Seine River, as well as the city's initiatives on ecological transition, climate policy, water management, and energy. 

Upon arrival at the Paris Yacht Marina, Their Majesties disembarked from the royal electric boat and continued by royal motorcade to Le Meurice Paris, Their Majesties' official residence during the State Visit to the French Republic.
