Their Majesties the King and Queen, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, on 1 July 2026 traveled to the city of Toulouse in southern France to observe Airbus’ operations and facilities.
Upon arrival at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, Their Majesties were greeted by Mr. Fabrice Rigoulet-Roze, Préfet de la région Occitanie and Préfet de la Haute-Garonne, before proceeding to the Airbus Delivery Center.
At the center, the King and Queen of Thailand were received by French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot, Airbus Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury, and senior Airbus executives. Then Their Majesties viewed a video presentation introducing Airbus and its vision for the future of global aviation. His Majesty the King also granted an audience to Mr. Wouter van Wersch, Executive Vice President International of Airbus, who presented an overview of the company's operations.
After viewing a separate presentation showcasing cooperation between Airbus and Thailand, Their Majesties proceeded to the A350 Airbus Final Assembly Line to observe fuselage, nose landing gear, and wing assembly operations.
Afterward, Their Majesties visited the Airbus Pilot Training Center and participated in an A350 flight simulator session on a Toulouse-Blagnac–Pyrenees route. Mr. Lars Wagner, Chief Executive Officer of Airbus’s Commercial Aircraft Business, also presented a Pléiades Neo satellite image from Airbus to Their Majesties.
After the final day of the State Visit to France on 1 July, Their Majesties departed Toulouse-Blagnac Airport for Thailand on Thai Airways International flight TG8887, which arrived at the Military Air Terminal, Don Mueang, on Thursday, 2 July at about 10.00 hr.
