His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X) has granted permission for the Government to organize a grand reception in honor of His Majesty on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, 28 July 2026.

The grand reception will take place at Santi Maitri Building, Government House, on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, at 19.00 hr. On this occasion, His Majesty the King has assigned Her Royal Highness Princess Maja Chakri Sirindhorn to attend this event.

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvurakul will deliver a speech of tribute offering best wishes to His Majesty the King and will also invite distinguished guests to join in a toast to His Majesty. Later, a cultural performance will be staged in honor of His Majesty on this auspicious occasion.

This event will be televised by the Television Pool of Thailand and broadcast live on Radio Thailand under the Government Public Relations Department, from 18.50 hr onward.

Government Spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek said that the Presidents of the National Assembly, Supreme Court, and Senate, as well as Cabinet members, military commanders, senior police officers, civil servants, and representatives of the private sector gathered at Sanam Luang ceremonial site on 28 July 2026 at 07.30 hr in an oath-taking ceremony to pledge themselves as good workers of the land, a united force of the nation.

The event was presided over by the Prime Minister, who expressed his gratitude for His Majesty’s dedication to the nation's prosperity and the well-being of the Thai people.

The oath-taking ceremony on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday is organized each year by the Office of the Civil Service Commission, which also encourages state agencies nationwide to hold similar ceremonies at their offices to show their loyalty to His Majesty the King.
