Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X) in attending a grand reception, hosted by the Government, on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s birthday anniversary, 28 July 2026.

The grand reception took place on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, at Santi Maitri Building, Government House. Her Royal Highness arrived at the venue at 18.50 hr and was received by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse.

In his speech of tribute offering best wishes to His Majesty the King, the Prime Minister stated that, on behalf of government officials and Thai people from all walks of life, he was profoundly delighted by Her Royal Highness’s participation in the grand reception organized by the Government to show loyalty and gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence. 

He said that, throughout the years, Thai people have clearly witnessed His Majesty's firm determination and boundless royal grace, reigning with righteousness. His Majesty has performed numerous duties that have brought immense benefits to the land and has served as the foundation of prosperity, empowering the country to progress and balance itself amid the context of global changes.

His Majesty’s proven flying ability as an aviator has earned him the epithet of “Pilot King,” one who has applied aviation science to contribute to the nation, strengthen national security, and foster friendly international relations. His Majesty has also initiated the “Royal Thai Volunteer Project,” a major royal policy aimed at cultivating self-sacrifice and promoting unity among the Thai people.

The Prime Minister also stated that His Majesty has always been concerned over the well-being of his subjects. Whenever the people suffer from hardships, His Majesty graciously provides assistance to alleviate their distress and boost their morale, enabling them to get through difficult times.

This boundless royal benevolence has spread extensively across the entire kingdom, bringing peace, happiness, and reassurance to all citizens. His Majesty's great virtue will endure with the nation and live on in the hearts of all Thais. 

The Prime Minister invited everyone gathered at the venue to unite their hearts and invoke the supreme power of the Triple Gem, along with all the sacred beings in the universe, to protect and bless His Majesty the King.

He also invited distinguished guests to join in a toast to His Majesty. Following the tribute speech, a cultural show was held in honor of His Majesty the King, followed by a musical performance of “Sadudi Chom Racha” (Hymn to the Great King).
