H.R.H. Princess Sirivannavari Presides Over Symposium and Visits “Legacy” Exhibition

Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya on 13 August 2026 at 15.30 hr presided over the 2026 Symposium on “Knowledge Development for International Product Development” on the 7th floor of ICONSIAM in Bangkok.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness presented copies of the book “Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2027” to 47 people, comprising members of the Cabinet, executives of the Ministry of Interior and the Community Development Department, and other participants.

Her Royal Highness also delivered a presentation on the topic of "Promoting and Developing the International Image of Thai Textiles for 2026,” and viewed the exhibition of the Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2027.

At 16.45 hr. Her Royal Highness visited the “Legacy” cultural capital fashion exhibition, organized by the Government Public Relations Department (PRD) at Thara Hall and Charoen Nakhon Hall on the M Floor of ICONSIAM.

The exhibition was meant to honor the enduring legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who laid the foundation for preserving Thai textile heritage. It was also intended to carry forward the royal vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari through the “Legacy: Creative Continuity & Creativity” concept.

Her Royal Highness also viewed “The Walk of Woven Identities” fashion show, featuring the achievements of 10 model communities, which were honored for Thai textile development, elevating local fabrics into modern fashion. The show highlighted the evolution of Thai textiles from local wisdom to creative process and contemporary fashion, reflecting the unique identities of each region of the country.
