Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, Creative Director of SIRIVANNAVARI, has designed the official ceremonial uniforms for Thailand’s national athletes under the concept “The Art of Unity.” These uniforms will be worn at the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, taking place from 19 September to 4 October 2026.
The uniform consists of four pieces: a three-pocket jacket made of handwoven cotton; a white shirt featuring embroidery on the front panel reflecting Thai and Japanese cultural elements; trousers in the same color as the jacket; and a necktie tied in SIRIVANNAVARI’s signature Diamond Knot.
Designed for more than 900 athletes and team officials, the ensemble presents Thai identity on the Asian stage through a contemporary design.
The uniforms incorporate handwoven indigo-dyed cotton from the Sustainable Village Project, under Her Royal Highness’s royal initiative in Sakon Nakhon Province, as well as handwoven cotton from the SUPPORT Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The design blends elegance with functionality, celebrating Thai craftsmanship and inspiring national pride.
