His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua has expressed his deep concern for the people affected by flooding in Bangkok, its vicinity, and other provinces in the central region, while graciously instructing relevant agencies to provide prompt assistance to ease the hardships of residents.

Royal Thai Army Spokesperson Major General Winthai Suvaree stated that the First Army Area, which supervises these areas, has coordinated with relevant agencies and mobilized forces to help those affected by heavy rain and flooding. 

General Thamanoon Vithee, Deputy Commander of the King's Guard Command, Royal Security Command, has closely monitored the situation. On 26 September, he chaired a video teleconference with representatives from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, the First Army Area, and the Directorate of Civil Affairs of the Royal Thai Army.

The meeting directed all relevant agencies to accelerate relief efforts for flood-affected residents. Military teams have been assigned to work with district offices for joint operations in affected areas. Personnel and vehicles have also been deployed to assist the public, particularly patients needing transportation to hospitals, as well as removing vehicles from flooded areas to facilitate traffic flow.

For flood victims who wish to remain in their homes, military units have been instructed to deliver food, drinking water, and survival bags, while establishing "Royal Kitchens" at relief shelters. Hotlines have also been activated to receive grievances and provide immediate help. The meeting emphasized public safety and effective public communication as top priorities.

Major General Winthai added that these disaster relief operations reflected His Majesty's royal benevolence and profound concern for his subjects. The Royal Thai Army and local military units remain fully committed to carrying out the royal directives by swiftly deploying forces and resources to ensure aid reaches all affected areas in a comprehensive and timely manner.
