Government Spokesperson Chai Wacharonke stated that the Government has launched the project “Amazing Beach Life Festival” in four coastal provinces to stimulate Thailand’s tourism during this green season.
The four provinces include Rayong, Phang-nga, Phuket, and Songkhla, which are well-established tourist destinations and boast many marine tourist attractions, especially wonderful beaches.
The Government Spokesperson said that the festival is being organized jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the private sector, in response to the Prime Minister’s vision “Ignite Tourism Thailand,” with the goal of moving Thailand toward becoming a tourism hub and attracting tourist arrivals from all parts of the world.
He said that the project aims to achieve the target of 3.5 trillion baht in tourism revenue for 2024 and much more in the coming years. This festival includes such activities as water sports, concerts, and performances in the form of beach life and recreation, as well as a fair for local art and craft products, food truck, beach bar, and fashion items.
The festival will feature eco-friendly decorations, with an emphasis on promoting sustainability, along with providing a new tourism experience for visitors.
