Phu Kradueng National Park, in the northeastern province of Loei, is ready to welcome all visitors from 1 October 2024, after having closed down for four months.
Phu Kradueng National Park is a very popular natural tourist attraction in Thailand, thanks to the richness of its biodiversity and geographical variety, including savannas, evergreen forests, waterfalls, and scenic viewpoints.
This national park was officially registered and declared the 57th ASEAN Heritage Park during the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment, held on 23-24 August 2023 in Vientiane, Lao PDR. It draws both domestic and international visitors, with an abundance of flora and fauna attractions and picturesque scenery.
Phu Kradueng is open from 1 October to 31 May each year, and it is closed from 1 June to 30 September every year in order to allow nature to recover and flourish again.
Literally meaning “Bell Mountain,” Phu Kradueng is a tabletop mountain noted for cool-climate flora. It is located in Phu Kradueng District and covers an area of 348.13 square meters. The weather on this mountain is cool all year round.
Phu Kradueng National Park welcomes a large number of visitors each year, especially during winter, when visitors come to appreciate the beautiful sea mist.
