Princess’s Cup Thailand Is Coming Back with Many Interesting Activities

The international equestrian event “Princess’s Cup Thailand” is coming back. Members of the public, tourists, and other people interested in equestrian sports are invited to attend the upcoming Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025.

This equestrian event, the 11th of its kind, is scheduled for 22-28 December 2025, in response to the aspirations of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who is Chairperson of the Policy Committee of the Princess’s Cup Thailand.

It will take place at the Royal Stable Unit, Royal Thai Army 2nd Cavalry Division, King's Guard, Sanam Pao, Phahonyothin Road in Bangkok. Visitors can easily use the BTS Skytrain to travel to the venue and get off at Sanam Pao Station.

Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari graciously decided that the Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 would be organized under the theme “Building the Bond Between Horse & Rider, Discover the Joy of Horse Connection.” The theme emphasizes the profound horse-rider relationship, as well as the bond between horses and their trainers, grooms, and farriers.

The Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 consists of two major programs: 1) FEI SEA Cup for young riders, aged between 16 and 21 years, aimed at developing and promoting young riders from Southeast Asian countries, and 2) Princess’s Cup Thailand, with five competition categories:  dressage, jumping, eventing, best groom, and best farrier.

The event features many edutainment activities, such as a Dog Fun Run program, dog contests, exhibitions, and a vibrant flea market, with open spaces for social gatherings and new experiences. A special exhibition, “The Spirit of Eternal Grace: The Timeless Essence of Elegance,” will also be held in loving memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who was the source of inspiration to encourage Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari to continue to preserve and build on Thailand’s cultural heritage.

The Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 is expected to help elevate Thailand’s equestrian sports to international standards and help develop the potential of Thai athletes, as well as stimulating the Thai economy at the end of the year.

It also offers a unique sports tourism experience in Thailand.
