Thailand, together with the IMF and the World Bank Group, unveiled the “Bangkok Blueprint” on 14 October – a framework for fraud-resilient financial services designed for countries to systematically tackle increasingly complex and cross-border financial fraud.
The framework emphasizes prevention, detection, response and redress, drawing on cooperation across all sectors, including government agencies, financial institutions, technology providers, and the public, to strengthen efforts at every stage.
The Bangkok Blueprint also promotes international cooperation to address cross-border fraud and strengthen safeguards, helping build a safe, trusted and inclusive digital financial system.
