His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu‘izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam officiated the Primary Resources and Tourism Expo 2025 at the International Convention Centre. 

Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.
Welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, His Majesty viewed a launch video and toured the pavilions showcasing Brunei Darussalam’s achievements in agriculture, agri-food, fisheries, forestry, and tourism, including local products, sustainable aquaculture, timber innovations, and tourism initiatives.
The Expo, themed ‘Innovative and Sustainable Primary Resources and Tourism’, highlights entrepreneurship among MSMEs, youth, and retirees, supports national food security, and strengthens the competitiveness of Brunei’s key sectors. It provides a platform for knowledge sharing, business matching, and showcasing innovations aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth and international engagement.
