The Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) recently released a report on the growth in investment over the previous three years in the target industries (2020–2022). Over the last three years, 2,687 projects totaling more than 600 billion Baht have been submitted for investment by multinational firms in the target industries, particularly next-generation automotive, smart electronics, digital, IT, and the creative industry. The following details pertain to the investment applications for the above projects: 46 projects totaling 78,115 million Baht are for electric vehicles, parts, and charging stations; 420 projects are for the digital industry; 92 projects are for smart electronics; 1,911 projects are for BCG industries; and 218 projects are for the creative sector.
