US bank closures have no impact on Thai banks

Traisulee Trisoranakul, Deputy Government Spokesperson, mentioned that after the US banks closed over the past week and caused volatility in the global and financial markets, Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha assigned the government's economic team to closely monitor the situation and determine whether it will have an impact on the Thai economy. According to related agencies, no Thai banks or financial institutions have investments in or transactions involving the two banks that are in jeopardy. Given that they each have a distinct business, it is believed that the impact on the US financial economy should be minimal. They don't offer as many services as traditional commercial banks. Additionally, the US government has already started taking efforts to quickly solve the issue.
