New road linking Phuket and Phang Nga completed to accommodate more tourists

The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) announced that the Na Klang-Ao Jik, or 1042 rural road, a 4.2-kilometer project, has been recently finished. It is expected that visitors from Phuket who are visiting well-known attractions in the province of Phang Nga will utilize the four-lane concrete road, which is a part of a city expansion plan in the Thai Muang neighborhood of Phang Nga. According to DRR Director General Apirat Chaiwongnoi, the road will facilitate transportation between provinces and boost the local economy and tourism. As more travelers arrive in Phang Nga since the nation reopened after the COVID-19 outbreak, it is anticipated that the road's completion will better accommodate them.
