Thailand Launches “Grand Songkran Grand Privileges” Campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the “Grand Songkran Grand Privileges” campaign to enhance the travel experience for tourists visiting Thailand during the Songkran Festival in April 2025. The program offers exclusive discounts and special deals through partnerships with over 40 businesses, covering shopping malls, restaurants, amusement parks, transportation services, spas, and souvenir shops. Discounts of up to 80% will be available, alongside weekly lucky draws for domestic flight tickets.

As part of the campaign, travelers can participate in the “Post and Share” activity, where sharing their experiences online will enter them into a contest for premium travel packages, including round-trip flights and hotel stays. Registration for special deals opens on March 20 via the official website, with offers valid throughout April.

TAT expects the campaign to boost spending across the tourism sector and attract visitors to a range of destinations beyond Thailand’s main tourist hubs, bringing in broader economic benefits within the industry. For 2025, the agency has set a target of 39 million international arrivals and 3.5 trillion baht (USD 98 billion) in revenue.
