Thailand's National Innovation Agency Collaborates with Partners to Promote ISO 56001 Practice

The National Innovation Agency (NIA) has partnered with the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) and the Management System Certification Institute (MASCI) to boost the competitiveness of Thai enterprises by promoting the adoption of ISO 56001.

The collaboration introduces the “Innovation Management Standard for Growth” project, which supports businesses in transitioning to innovation-based enterprises by applying structured, internationally recognized management systems.

The program further enhances the organization’s ability to manage innovation systematically, improve efficiency, and adapt to global economic uncertainty.

Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, executive director of NIA, said the program reflects Thailand’s shift toward an innovation-driven economy, where innovation serves as a core economic foundation. Participating organizations will receive training, consultancy, and readiness assessments to support implementation.

The campaign, which creates a network of experts and promotes best practices in innovation management, targets more than 100 organizations nationwide, with at least 10% expected to achieve ISO 56001 certification.

The first phase has already launched in Bangkok, with the next phase set to expand nationwide in May 2026.
