Royal Address to Military and Police Officials

His Majesty the King stated that the country would become stronger when all groups of people performed their duties in unison with the same ideal and goal that is, the benefit and happiness of everyone in the nation.

The statement was part of his royal address delivered to 6,812 military and police officials participating in the oath-taking ceremony and the grand military and police parade on the occasion of the Coronation of King Rama X 2019.

The event took place at the Royal Thai Army Cavalry Center, Adisorn Military Camp, in Saraburi province on 18 January 2020, coinciding with Royal Thai Armed Forces Day. It was the first such ceremonial parade in the reign of King Rama X, organized by the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the Royal Thai Police.

The objectives were to honor His Majesty the King, who is the highest commander of the Thai armed forces, and to show the loyalty and unity of the Thai military and police, as well as their capabilities, strength, and readiness for sacrifices.

His Majesty the King was accompanied by Her Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.

In his royal address, His Majesty said that he was very pleased to see the unity of the soldiers and policemen who gathered to show their loyalty and determination to perform their duties for the country and the people.

He called on the military and police officials to honor their oath of allegiance and perform their duties with honesty, strength, and devotion, while continuing to develop their skills. Each and every one was urged to join hands in bringing happiness to the people and progress to the nation, in the performance of their duties.
