To reduce the demand for patient beds in Bangkok, the Ministry of Public Health, the National Health Security Office (NHSO), and related agencies have joined hands in facilitating travel for COVID-19 patients wanting to return to their hometowns under the health protection plan to prevent the risk of spreading the virus. Those COVID-19 patients who have mild symptoms and prefer to be treated in their home provinces may dial the NHSOs hotline 1330 or download its QR code to reserve their seat and be able to travel within three days of registering. Moreover, patients have to register with the NHSO to receive medical monitoring and treatment during home isolation.
