Thailand strongly condemns the Cambodian military’s attack on a hospital, which constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law.

Under the Geneva Conventions, medical facilities must be protected at all times — especially in times of conflict.

The Phanom Dong Rak Chalerm Phra Kiat 80th Anniversary Hospital in Surin Province suffered serious damage following a cross-border attack by Cambodian forces. Patients and staff were forced to evacuate amidst chaos, with visible destruction to medical buildings, infrastructure, and even lifesaving equipment.
