Thailand's Ministry of Defence has categorically denied making any disparaging comments about Cambodia, dismissing what it called "false information" circulating on social media platforms. The ministry emphasized that no official interviews were conducted as claimed in the online reports.

The denial comes following a recent border incident involving Cambodian military personnel. According to the Thai Defense Ministry, eighteen armed Cambodian soldiers crossed into Thai territory but surrendered peacefully to Thai forces without offering any resistance.

Following established military protocols, Thai forces took the Cambodian personnel into custody. The ministry stated that the soldiers were provided with essential humanitarian care, including food, water, and medical assistance during their detention.
