PM Anutin Attends Royal Cremation of Fallen Soldier in Roi Et

Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the royal cremation of Sergeant Major First Class Satthawat Sujarit, who lost his life during clashes along the Thai–Cambodian border.

The ceremony took place on 13 December, at Wat Phrom Phithak Wanaram in Nong Phok District, Roi Et Province. On behalf of  the Royal Thai Army, the Army Chief of Staff presented the national flag, a campaign medal plaque, a certificate of honor, along with financial assistance, and compensation to the family.

His Majesty the King graciously accepted the remains of the fallen soldier under royal patronage and bestowed royal water for the bathing ceremony. The granting of a royal cremation as a special honor reflects His Majesty’s compassion for military personnel who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation’s sovereignty.
