According to the Joint Press Center on the Thailand–Cambodia Border Situation, authorities continue to provide comprehensive care and security for civilians affected by the border situation, with coordinated efforts focusing on safety, well-being, and humanitarian assistance.
Images from temporary shelters show evacuees, including children and families, engaging in recreational and educational activities designed to ease stress and support mental well-being while they are staying at the shelters. Health and social support services are also being provided on a continuous basis to ensure appropriate living conditions for displaced residents.
Security in evacuation areas is being closely maintained, with police officers and village defense volunteers jointly patrolling day and night to safeguard shelters and surrounding communities.
In addition, a mobile veterinary unit has been deployed to provide healthcare services for pets and livestock belonging to evacuees, underscoring the government’s commitment to protecting both people and animals affected by the situation.
The Joint Press Center reaffirmed that all relevant agencies are working together to ensure safety, humanitarian assistance, and stability in the affected areas.
